October 4th thru 10th - Fire Prevention "Stay Fire Safe. Don't Get Burned". We will be at the Tuckerton Elementary on Tuesday October 6th. We will also be at the Tuckerton Library on Tuesday October 13 at 11:30am. At the school, the children will receive a prevention checklist, activity book, along with other prevention items. We look forward to seeing you at the library and school!
*All proceeds go to buy gear and supplies for the Firehouse and its members.
PAST EVENTS:
Sunday, December 7th - Roast Beef Dinner Fund Raiser. That's right, our annual Roast Beef Dinner Fund Raiser* is back. This will be our 85th annual dinner. Come out have a good dinner and a little socialization with old friends, while showing your support for the Fire Company. Tickets are available from any member of the Tuckerton Fire Company or Tuesday nights at the firehouse for $10.00 per ticket. A slice of pie rounds out this meal of roast beef, mashed potatoes with gravy, roll, veggies, and a beverage. Meals are available for pick-up at 1:00 pm to 6:00 pm and dine in from 2:00 pm until 6:00 pm.
December Santa! Until his big night out, we will be helping Santa visit all the good little boys and girls of the Tuckerton Borough with our fire engines. If you would like Santa for a special occasion please give us at least one weeks notice of the date via phone 609-296-4546 or email tvfc@tuckertonfire.com.
Saturday, December 20th- Our Ladies Auxiliary is hosting a breakfast with Santa! Please visit our jolly guest from 8:00am-12:00pm and enjoy a buffet of pancakes, french toast, eggs, orange and apple juice, milk, coffee and tea. Tickets* can be purchased at the firehouse door when you arrive for the fun!
Saturday, April 25- Cheif T. Frank Pharo Dinner Dance. Please join us at the Tuckerton Beach Grill from 6:30 to 10:00 for an evening of great food, music, and dancing to benefit our fire rescue boat.
Friday, May 22-Weber Stainless Gas Grill Raffle! 7pm the winning ticket will be drawn at Tuckerton Fire hall; winner need not be present at drawing. Tickets are available for five dollars a piece from any volunteer of the fire company and Tuesday nights at the fire hall.
Friday, July 4th - Firework Celebration. We will be at Tip Seamen Park to celebrate America's birthday. The firework show was amazing last year and will be a great show this year. We will also be on the corner of Route 9 and Green Street with our Rescue Truck, to light up the intersection for the Police to direct traffic.
July 5th & 6th - 4th of July Weekend. On July 5th & 6th, we will have our second of three fund drives* for the 2008 year. Members will be in the intersection of Route 9 and Green Street from 8:00am to 12:00pm. Please come out and show your support for the Fire Company.
Sunday, August 10th 2008 - Summertime BBQ Blast - The Outback Steakhouse will be there cooking. K98.5FM Real Jersey Kountry will be broadcasting live. Raffles, 50/50's, Dunk Tank and other entertainment. Park environment, picnic tables and more. Sure to be a fun and entertaining day with family and friends. Rain Date is Sunday August 17th. Tickets Available soon.
