50-00 - Chief's Truck

This truck is used by the chief for quick response to calls, and to give the company quick size-ups on what they are being called to. The truck is used as a mobile command unit on all incidents.  The cab can hold five members for various reasons.  The back of the truck has the gear in it to run any incident.

50-01 belongs to many task forces in Ocean County including the Southern Ocean County 5" task force and the Ocean County Forest fire task force.  50-01 is also our first out engine on mutual aid calls and calls on the Garden State Parkway.

 

50-23 - The Rescue

50-23 is the newest vehicle to join the Fighting 50. It's primary use is a support vehicle for structure fires, adding lighting as well as a cascade air-fill station for refilling SCBA's. Another primary use is for out-of-town FAST team operations. With the many compartments on board 50-23, it is a great place to store any additional equipment that we utilize that can not fit on our Engines. It is also used to assist the Police providing lighting as well as other support functions.
